A Poem for you, and your body...

'Rosie' Mixed Media Original
'Rosie' Mixed Media Original

She has her reasons.

She moves with you, for you, in ways she feels is best.

At times, her signals are quiet or hidden,

spoken in ways you may not understand.

She carries you through the smiles and the sadness.

She sits beside you in your tears and your darkness.

She heals and mends in ways both visible and unseen.

She tries not to fail you, but like all of nature,

she is beautifully imperfect.

Our journey is not to judge or fight her,

but to listen, to hold, and to love her fully,

even in those moments that feel like betrayal.

To love without conditions or demands.

To sit with her with patience and grace.

This could just be one of life’s greatest challenges,

but it also could just be one of the most rewarding gifts,

because to love anything fully,

we must start with ourselves.

Maybe you needed to hear this today or know someone who needs to hear this..
