So… What Actually Happens in a Body Art Session?

Let’s be honest: getting your body turned into art sounds a little mysterious & wild doesn't it?

You might be thinking—What do I wear? Is it weird? Do I have to get naked? Will I get paint in weird places?

(Short answer: nope. Long answer: keep reading.)

A body Art Session is basically part creative ritual, part messy playtime, part “holy sh*t that was actually really fun, can we do it again?!.”

There’s time to chat, have a cuppa, ask all the questions, decide of colours and the pose. You don’t need to bring confidence or know what you're doing—you just bring yourself, and i'll encorage you to do the rest.

Then comes the impression...

We use a safe, washable paints on high-quality paper to capture the shape and presence of your body—arms, back, belly, hands, whatever feels right for you. It's not invasive, it's not scary, and it’s surprisingly calming. You may already have a pose in mind, you may not - either way, we work together to create whats right for you and your body

And yes, it gets a bit messy (in a fun way). But you’ll leave looking more like you’ve done a very classy life drawing class than a full-blown paint fight. The paint showers off easily and your'll leave sqeeky clean.

During the session, I work on your imprint in the studio— bringing out your body and shape to reveal a more figurative artwork.

The final piece? Personal, bold, beautiful. A one-of-a-kind artwork made from you, for you, ready to roll up and take home (how cool is that?)

Most people feel a little nervous beforehand. But afterwards they say:

"I felt like I’d just done something brave and brilliant. This is going above my bed!."
"Honestly, I thought I’d feel awkward—but it was so fun. I left buzzing and felt lighter, freer."

I'll leave you with some requently asked questions...and if you want to book a session, get in touch or fill out the enquiry form by clicking the 'Click Me' button x

FAQs —

Do I need to get naked?

Only if you want to. Impressions work just as well with fabric or underwear—whatever you feel comfortable in.

How Big is the Artwork?

Thats up to you! There are no rules on size, but I find that most women Like an a2/a1/a0 size so they can easily pop them in a frame. Again we discuss your preferences before the session and changes can always be make on the day, I'm super flexible!

Will I be covered in paint?

Not 'covered'- I apply the paint with intention and it washes off very quickly and easily!

What if I feel a bit shy?

Totally normal. We go at your pace, with lots of reassurance (and a great playlist if needed).

How do I book?

Fill in the form, and I’ll be in touch to confirm the date. A quick payment locks in your session, and then we’ll have a little phone chat to talk through the fun bits.

If this sounds like something you'd love (or something your inner teenager would scream YES to), hit the button below and lets get you started...
